Zeferino Espinoza founded the company in downtown Morelia, marking the beginning of an industrial trajectory that continues to this day.
1915
Alfonso Espinoza takes over the management of the company, continuing and consolidating its growth.
1943
Don Gregorio Gómez Gutiérrez acquires the company and renames it “Jabonera La Fama”.
1980
The company adopts the name “Industria La Fama” and moves to Ciudad Industrial, strengthening its operational capacity.
2000
It begins production of USP glycerin and toilet soaps, expanding its portfolio into personal care.
2010
The production of palm fatty acids begins, consolidating its presence in the oleochemical industry.
